THIS IS WHY I LOVE MY LIFE.

First off.

This is why I love the Internet.

Leave Scientology to me.

Second.

Cloverfield reminded me why I have this sudden passion for movies.

I'm most likely going to convince my friends Caitlin and Alyssa to go see it again with me tomorrow after school; I saw it with my brother earlier tonight, and I need to watch it again for all the subliminal stuff.

OH RAPTURE.

Otsuka Ai's 'Sakuranbo'?

I can't even explain why I love this PV so much. I don't even know.

It did, however, inspire my new-found love for all things cherry.

!!!

My life may seem extremely and utterly boring, but it truly is delightful when I find gems like this:

I've actually known about this song/PV for awhile, but I love it every time. :D

Yes, I do like Gackt. Shut up.

Edit: WHY IS BIYUUDEN DISBANDING?

I'M GOING TO SMACK THE NEXT PERSON THAT COMES NEAR ME.

I died.

I've mostly been too busy sleeping or eating to update. I actually came home from school on Friday and slept for four straight hours and then went to Outback Steakhouse to eat a 'bloomin' onion'.

Now it's already Sunday night, and I have to endure the start of a five-day week tomorrow. >:( The last two weeks have been three-day and four-day, respectively.

Darn.

Oh, but I did just discover the new Buono! PV: I heart it.

Wonder Girls - 'Tell Me'

I have finally utterly succumbed to the Wonder Girls mania.

I fought long and hard, trust me, but my downfall was obviously inevitable.

Edit: I'm just going to leave this as turning on automatically; it will annoy (or please, whichever) more people that way.

AKIFUUUUUUUU~!

LOOK WHAT I FOUND.

THEY ARE SO ADORABLE, THEY MAKE MY HEART EXPLODE.

I LOVE MY LIFE.

It's after one in the morning, and I need to work on Great Expectations stuff tomorrow (read: later today) and go see Sweeney Todd for the third time (though that's not really something burdensome), and here I am reading SuJu fanfiction.

BUT THIS KANGTEUK ONE IS SO AWESOME, AND I REALLY LOVE THIS AUTHOR-ESS, AND I FOLLOW ALL HER FANFICS, AND I THINK SHE'S A REALLY SPECTACULAR WRITER.

And I better tone it down or I'll seem like a huge stalker, but really. THE FANFICS.

Kitty GYM.

I am still pondering this unit even though it was born a long time ago and wasn't even permanent.

Yamapi, Golf (GOLF. WTF?), and Golf's brother, Mike, team up with various Johnny's juniors to sing a crack-song where afros, flying pods, and a dumb hat (worn by Yamapi) are involved.

Golf and Mike are two Thai brothers that I can't even tell apart. I think of them as "Blond-streaked One" and "Cute-Smile One".

Bottom line: I am deeply amazed by the 'Fever to Future' PV. I'm not quite sure why besides that the song itself is as catchy as all get-out.

This PV also taught me that Thai guys are really good-looking. :O

Brief Announcement.

I rule 34'd Great Expectations today, Pip&Herbert-style.

That is all.

Snow!

It's actually snowing here! 'Cept, hatefully, it's on the first day of our five-day weekend, meaning that we most likely will not get out of school next Tuesday. >_<

Midterms are finished, and I'm not sure how I did on any of them, and I'd rather not look. (Technically, I'm not done with my Anatomy&Physiology midterm, though; we have to present those horrid epidemiology projects to the class, and my teacher is going in a random order, and I go first next class, dang.)

Today I couldn't sleep in like I wanted; I had a dentist appointment at frickin' 8:30 in the morning (no cavities, though, yay!). Then, I came home, read a beast amount of Dickens' Great Expectations, and took a shower. I now plan on watching SuJu's 'Exploration of the Human Body' (I haven't watched Sunday's episode yet, still with DBSK!) or my newly-downloaded episodes of 'Yukan Club'. Either way, it's all good.

And I'm getting really PO-ed that I can't find English translations for the lyrics to the extra songs on the regular edition of the NewS single 'weeeek' ('with me' and 'Rainbow', that is). It doesn't go over well when you type in 'news weeeek' on Google; even when you add 'jpop', 'johnny's', 'yamapi', and other variations to try and narrow it down a bit, it doesn't comprehend.

Oh well. I can probably find them in a LiveJournal community or something.

Busy and random.

So. This (short, thank the lord) week is mid-term week, and I'm kinda dying. I took the AP Calculus AB midterm today and pretty much spaced out throughout the entire thing. D: My teacher, beamingly, informs us that we are supposed to feel as if we failed it, but I really don't like that feeling at all.

Anyway, on a lighter note, my brother, ever the kid to taunt me about my obsession with all things JPop/KPop, proclaimed today that he hates his current hair and wants it cut like semi-oldschool KiBum of Super Junior (on the left, please ignore the disaster that is red-headed HeeChul here):

I just love teasing my brother about something he likes regarding a Super Junior member. And, after going through my small and extremely unorganized SuJu image folder (one day I just randomly decided to go on a SuJu saving binge, haha), I have the overwhelming urge to post a KangTeuk picspam (along with some beautiful .gifs I have of the pair, squee). :3

Oh, and I was browsing YouTube for a short time today after school (and feel the need to constantly embed videos of my interest, but it's my blog, so hey), and I found a performance of the new Morning Musume (with Yossie and Miki and sans JunJun and LinLin) that was actually amazing.

I hold to the fact that it is so amazing because it covered a medley of legendary Momusu songs ('LOVE Machine', 'The PEACE!', and 'Renai Revolution 21', respectively), and Risa and Eri got to sing almost as much as they deserve to regularly. :O

Now, if only Koharu had, like, no solo lines at all (maybe replaced with Aika), this performance would've been close to perfect.

Ugh, I need to at least glance over my notes for AP Spanish and Orchestra (somewhat). /rage&fury

Weekend joy.

Oh my lord, I played SO MUCH Rock Band this weekend, it was unbelievable. I think that was the most American music that I've ever sung in my life; I even came out the other end of this weekend with an interest in the band FlyLeaf (it might have something to do with my joy in singing the song 'I'm So Sick' on Rock Band and having my brother's friend express his hate toward me for being able to sing like the original, that is, being able to sing in a "girly" voice - whaddya know?). When I went to bed on both Friday and Saturday night, I saw the vocal lines for Coheed and Cambria's 'Welcome Home' flashing across the back of my shut eyelids.

I even enjoy playing the drums; the guitar, both lead and bass, might even be my least favorite instrument now, even though I still get a kick out of trying to beat Lou, the Devil, in Guitar Hero 3.

So, anyway. I have a mission; like a little pansy (but an awesome little pansy, knock on wood), I'm trying to spend as much time with my family as possible before I graduate high school this May and most likely move away to college in late August. I went on a long (but extremely beautiful and dare I say it, mystical) hike with my dad and two dogs this afternoon. I'm more of the athletic kid of the family (my brother is the artsy one), and so I can keep up with the walk-beast that is my father quite decently.

And then earlier this evening, I went to go see Sweeney Todd again with my mom and brother when Dad was watching football (and I saw Stacey and her mom and sister there, how coincidental). I could pay more attention the second time around because I knew when the gory parts were coming and wasn't sitting with my hands directly below my eyes the entire time. Oh, bliss.

And so, to make this post even longer and more ramble-y, I must also mention that I watched the entirety (2 hours, 17 minutes, and 2 seconds for those at home) of the Morning Musume 4th Generation audition footage between late last night and early this morning. When I first got into Momusu (around February of last year), I liked 3rd Gen. simply because I was a Goto Maki fan. Then, I became a 5th Gen. fan because I really liked Niigaki Risa (who is still my Momusu favorite, I might add). However, I think I'm now officially a 4th. Gen. fan; 4th Gen. was all-around made of pure awesome and pwnage (Goto Maki's not even in H!P anymore, and 5th Gen. has Takahashi Ai, ugh). I love(d) every single 4th Gen. member, though, all the way from Yossie, resident Momusu "pretty-boy" and who I believe to have been the best Momusu leader ever to Rika AKA Charmy, now the leader of Biyuuden and doing a kick-arse job at it to Kago and Tsuji, the "terrible twins" of Momusu and eventual members of W.

Actually, my favorite part of the 4th Gen. audition footage was the KagoTsuji interaction. You could see them already acting as friends even when there were ten finalists left, and when Tsunku picked Kago to join Momusu, the camera cut to Tsuji, who had an expression of "Okay, she made it in. Man, I hope I'm next." Then, after Tsunku's selected three had been picked for 4th Gen. (Rika, Aibon, Yossie), he announced that he was adding an extra member on the spot. He then called out for Tsuji, and...and...I cried. I freakin' cried. As the wuss I am, I bawled because 4th Gen. was now made of perfection.

That said, Nono's my favorite from 4th Gen. simply because she was the "leftover one", the underdog, and she knew that; she used it, even, to her advantage and climbed to the top, right alongside Aibon, who had started out dazzling.

Thus, I will end this excessively long update with a dance-shot W video, perhaps my favorite W video, because it was their last, and I think it was where Tsuji had finally grown equal to, or even surpassed, Aibon in stealing the show.

(It makes me really want to find a friend and learn the dance to this; I need an Aibon to my Nono (I'm thinking of recruiting my friend, Becka, who knows nothing of JPop and just being like, "Here, do this, and I'll love you forever"). Yes, I would want to be Nono (the one with the redder hair and in the short shirt and shorts) for reasons stated above. I actually kinda know the dance somewhat, considering I smacked into the bathroom door while attempting to do it in front of the mirror the other morning before school. :D :D :D)

Edit: I just realized a dumb mistake: Kago's no longer in H!P, and Tsuji's position is questionable, so I really shouldn't have used that Goto schtick above (I still love Gocchin!: 3rd and 4th Gens. rock, but 4th Gen. is slightly more awesome with that whole group dynamic and all).

Just needed to clear that up.

Prom dresses? Already?

Why, yes. I work at a bridal shop, and so I have been told repeatedly that I need to pick my dress NOW (yeah, in January, when the prom's actually in April), so that I get it before other people pick the one I want. So me and my two friends, Laura (who also works at the store) and Stacey (whose parents run the store), went after school to try on dresses.

About an hour and a half after three-person, half-naked flailing in a huge, mirror-filled bridal dressing-room, I think I know what I want. At least, it seemed that everybody in the store liked it on me, and my mom likes what I showed her from the booklet. ^_^'

It's this dress:

except in periwinkle. :D I tried on a size 20 today (the only one in stock, haha, and it had to be clipped in about three different places) and drowned. I'm going to need to order one that fits right, and thus, pay more. ;_;

At least I get a discount. :DV

Anyway, now I'm just sitting at home debating on whether or not I should play Super Mario Galaxy. I was thinking of going to see Sweeney Todd again, but my friend, Brooke, never replied to my e-mails, and I don't have her phone number. D:

Oh well. My brother's friends are coming over later to spend the night, and we're planning on playing Rock Band. :3 And I get to be vocals. Yay.

So, yeah. Me and three fourteen year-old boys are going to make a party of it.

In other news, Wonder Girls' song 'Tell Me' is one of the most extremely addicting things I have ever listened to. I don't even like it as a song that much, but I continually seek it out because of how addictive it is. I can understand now why the entirety of Korea is attempting to learn the dance.

Plus, the PV contains grannies pushing baby carriages in front of oncoming school buses and old men (naked except for shifty-looking trench-coats) hiding in girls' locker-room lockers and flashing them excitedly.

Good game, Korea, good game.

My ups&downs.

Again, here I am during epidemiology time (it's due tomorrow, actually), and I'm wandering around the Internet instead. D:

Anyway, today a travesty occurred! I was sitting in English class listening to my teacher rant about the poem "To the Virgins, To Make Much of Time", and I was fiddling with my semi-new YehSung headset necklace. And. And! It broke. I guess I kinda deserved it because I kept bending the sides back, but I thought it did that on its own: I must've been forcing it. An entire headphone broke off, and I'm going to see if my dad can fix it tonight. :3

Now, on a good note! I found out that my newest YesAsia order, Hey!Say!JUMP's single 'Ultra Music Power' has been shipped! Squee. It had been backordered (for whatever reason) to be shipped on the 18th, but my cries and summons for it obviously made it come sooner than planned.

Man, I love me some screechy Chinen Yuri. Can't wait to hear that little, prepubescent voice through my CD player.

Lord, my neighbor keeps racing some little toy car back&forth, back&forth, back&forth, and it's driving me crazy! @_@ It's not like it's even a little kid; it's a grown man, and he's been at this for about an hour.

I just may cry if I hear it one more time.

I really do love Super Junior.

Credit for video to okata77 at YouTube.

But now I'm going to go to bed with A*Teens stuck in my head. ~_~

I can't do this.

I simply cannot concentrate on writing a beast-length epidemiology research paper for Anatomy&Physiology.

Instead, I'm trying to mess around with customizing this blog and watching SweetS PVs in the meantime. For some reason, I feel the need to keep watching the dance/non-Hawaii version of 'Mienai Tsubasa'. If I ever had any motivation to learn JPop/KPop dances on my own, this one would totally be on the top of my list.

I would even try to scrounge up black and white stuff to wear:

Eeee! Haruna (the very first girl to sing) has such short hair that she almost looks like a boy. It's still adorable, though. ^_^ I've thought more than once that I should cut my hair like that, but my hair probably wouldn't look as good: I'm not Asian, anyway. I'm also trying to grow my hair out, and cutting it like Haruna's would negate the entire process.

I still need to finish learning Kusumi Koharu's 'Balalaika' and C-ute's 'Soku Dakishimete' first. Haha.

I think I'll welcome myself here jovially.

It's late, I'm tired, and I should be going to bed. I have school tomorrow. D:

But, as always in my life, the Internet comes before my physical health and well-being. On that note, I'm starting this blog because my livejournal (http://razzmadazz.livejournal.com/) used to be a paid account and ran out (thus, only fifteen icons again, which wounds me greatly), and my short-lived Vox account ( http://kanashimitwilight644.vox.com/) seemed to constantly evade updates.

Let's see how this one pans out. :D
